Char Grossman, is professionally recognized as a Therapeutic Yoga Specialist and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. She received her post masters graduate psychology certification from John Carroll University and has worked over the last three decades assessing, educating, and counseling children, adolescents, and adults with and without special needs. Char received yoga therapy certification from several national and international yoga programs. She is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500 hrs) with Yoga Alliance and has advanced therapeutic training through Integrated Yoga Therapy, The Hard and Soft Teacher Training, Yoga for the Special Child and Adaptive Yoga For Disabilities. Char has obtained professional training at Duke Integrative Medicine in Yoga Awareness for Cancer, and completed MD Anderson Integrative Medicine Program’s Oncology Training Conference. In 2004, Char founded YogaReach (yoga-reach.org), a therapeutic yoga program that inspires individuals of all ages and abilities to develop educational, physical, mental and social competencies through mind and body techniques. Instruction includes group and private sessions. Char continues to be a long time member and has presented at  the International Association for Yoga Therapy.  She has also been an author for Cure Talk, a medical trends program. 

 Presently, Char presents and teaches workshops at hospitals, colleges, and community centers, for those challenged with Movement Disorders.  She specifically has extensive knowledge  and works with Stroke Survivors and those with Parkinson’s Disease.  Char’s enthusiasm, compassion and innovative teaching styles instill positive changes within every individual.
